This Is Serious Concern That Takes A Little Planning. Works For Both

You may not be aware but the early Daniel Boone types, American
Indians,
Lewis and Clark and our ancestors back thousands of years made and ate
something called Pemmican. It was almost a perfect balanced food in
that you could eat almost nothing else for two weeks at a time and get
along just fine.
(note an American firm named (trade name) Pemmican makes beef
jerky laden with chemicals. They do not make Pemmican.
We are discussing pemmican, not beef jerky. This is NOT beef jerky. We
mention this because it causes confusion..
American Indians traded buffalo stomachs, (used as a container) filled
with
prepared pemmican. (they dried all their bufflao, berries etc in the
sun) This would last a large group of explorers on the trail, as food
for a week.
Indians on a war party or buffalo herd hunting party did not spend two
weeks out hunting rabbits for supper...they carried it in pockets or
little leather bags and ate pemmican the whole time.
When they were defending the Alamo for days they did not send out for
Pizza.
They ate and existed on Pemmican.
Does not spoil, will last 100 years and takes very little room and
weighs very little. Not a new invention at
all.
You can buy it on line a very few places, (expensive,) but you best make
it yourself....like you fix your own meals, best you fix your own
pemmican, then you know what is in it.
If you make it, you will make it with what you currently have, likely
never make it twice the same. I never have.
Has no preservatives whatsoever. Makes lawyers nervous if you
manufacture and sell it... can not believe you do not have to load it up
with chemicals to keep it from spoiling.
Secret, it is dried. Bacteria have to have moisture.
Whats in it.. ? Whatever you put in it....
Basically I start with meat, we have preferences and instructions. Meat
I dry higher temperature, around 135 etc and is not a problem
Natural food loses its enzymes over 118 degrees. I dry all
of mine (except meat) under that.
All cooked by any method food, and even fast frozen food has
lost most enzymes, this has not.
Nuts, of all types, dried berries, quinoa, cranberries, pumpkin seeds,
sunflower seeds, dried apples, (go easy for a diabetic too sweet) (mix
in small percentage) now i even add dark chocolate powder, cinnamon,
cayenne pepper, dried parsley, dried chicken livers, you name it.
About one third dried meat. I have even included dried
tomatoes etc.
Grind all the powder dry material in one batch with your blender, add
coconut oil or beef tallow etc, make it into like candy bars and put it
plastic bagey....like milky ways, (this crumbles unless kept cold.
carry in your pocket or purse and you really don t care if next plane
stop has your type of food or not...you will just eat a little pemmican.
Taste, ? I like it...not two baches the same but i could
live on it...and not bother me a bit. Nibble all day is the
feature.. Truckers swear by it...no searching for a place
to eat in the dampest places you get hungry.
Supplement it with what you find along the way. This hardly
moves your blood sugar. I have eaten it all over the
world... take it with me...on every world travel, would not leave home
or even make the trip without it, requires little room. We
will explain that more later... Next, the most important
thing is getting on to finding places to stay and live with cooking
facilities. They are usually called suites. Just a motel with a frig
and stove... every place we went in New Zealand we asked about it.
Actuallly we never found one with out cooking facilities.
Turns out there they all have it.
Then there is renting "vacation homes" if you come to Arizona, look me
up, I have 12 fully furnished homes I rent.... full disclosure here i
have conflict of interest. http://azvhr.com Will give you idea how it
works,
You can now easily find these "vacation rental homes" all
over the word. (look under vacation homes) In Argentina, we rented a
furnished apt for a week. worked terrific. Australia, one for five days
right down town in Sidney.
This is ideal for a diabetic or weight watching person that wants to
control their diet. Stock your frig the way you want.
Cook the way you want or eat raw.
Motel six even has suites...in many cities. very reasonable, very little
more then a motel. In New Zealand, renting motor homes with
cooking facilities is big part of tourist business.
We had a hard time in China but that is another story. Pemmican saved
the day.
You learn things like you can boil eggs and keep them
unrefrigerated no problem for at least a week. (sealed container and
have been sterilized like canned goods., do not crack container.) Leave
home with a couple dozen and boil along the way, every week or so.
Next trip I think we will travel with a very tiny bottle of apple cider
vinegar, and one of coconut oil and buy salad makings along the way.
Can go in grocery, or even any restaurant, etc and ask them to chop up
ingredients. You have your own dressing... plastic plate and spoon.
Perfect combo for boiled egg example, pemmican etc.
Spinach etc will last for a couple of days without refrigeration.
Pemmican, is the great liberator. You never fear being caught with
nothing you can eat again. Boiled eggs and nuts for example will help
you get thru and the rest of what you do find is just a bonus,
supplementing during those times when it is hard to find your menu..
